You must format your memory card first!
I was concerned reading here that the PSP reviewers mentioned that their PSP doesn't recognize it at all, but I was also surprised that they didn't mention anything other than that. Whenever you use a new memory card in your PSP, you must first format the memory card before your PSP can use it for its intended purpose. Once formatted, 59 GB can be used afterwards. So far this has worked great.
