I was very excited to order this diamond painting because the painting was so beautiful. But I didn't have to wait long to be disappointed with the quality of the product. Upon unpacking, I noticed that each package contained an unusual number of scatter drills. I didn't think it was uncommon to find a couple, but this time there seemed to be a lot more of them. But that wasn't my problem. I only mention this because the overall quality control seems to be very poor. My main problem came when I was working on the DP angle. I had only completed a small part of the painting when I noticed that the drill bits kept popping up and loosening excessively or peeling off the canvas because the canvas didn't feel tacky enough. Also, I noticed that it was the darker drill bits that were the problem more than any other. I'm wondering if the color of the paint, in addition to the low level of stickiness on the canvas, will affect the quality of the drill and cause it to resist the glue? The DMC colors most affected were 939, 310, and 890 (in order of worst to next worst). I tried to get a replacement and was even more disappointed to find out they ran out of stock which meant I could only return it. Since I really want this DP, I feel like the only choice I have is to spend the extra money buying glue to attach the drill bits to this canvas. Overall I'm disappointed with the poor quality of the product, the apparent lack of inspections, the inability to get replacements and ultimately the feeling that I had to spend extra money to buy glue so I could keep the project. Unless this seller wants to step up their game I will be very careful not to order from them again.
