Review on π Hardwire Power Cord with RJ11 Direct Wire for Escort Max Radar Detectors (3005001M) by Eric Power
Cable jacket/braid not connected to RJ end
The whole point of ordering this kit was the prefabricated character and aesthetics of the jacketed cable rather than buying a cheaper or black phone cord and two. Which in this case wasn't secured with any heat shrink tubing, or the RJ plug was locked so it was loose and frayed at the end of the plug. Which destroys the pure view and makes it meaningless. If I need to fix a cable, I could do it myself.
