Review on 🚀 Linkitom Submersible LED Trailer Light Kit: Super Bright Lights for Camper, Truck, RV, Boat, Snowmobile (under 80" Inch) by Chris Castro

Submersible, yes. Waterproof, no.

Good. My boat trailer is quite old so the big problem was getting rid of the old lights and wires. This set was relatively easy - even for those who are mechanically inclined but have zero experience. The cables appear to be of good quality and were long enough to run the full length of my 18ft trailer. If you don't have experience, lay everything out first to make sure you have the right dimensions and enough wire. We had a mess and had to assemble some extra parts that were provided for the side of the truck that we didn't need. The lights have been on the trailer for a few months now and we have launched the boat. 10 or so times. So far the lighting itself is working very well. However, light hulls are filled with water. The yellow marker lights filled up first, but the taillights also started leaking. This did not affect the operation of the headlights (for now I will update if they start to fail). The water doesn't seem to be draining from the lamps and we're nearing freezing, so we may need to take steps to prevent the lenses from breaking. All in all quite good light. The set is very beautiful and bright! - and the diodes seem to be soldered too. but the lenses aren't sealed, so expect water to collect inside.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
