Bought about a year and a half ago and hooked up as a suction line for my 25kW industrial generator. The hose sees only slight suction and no pressure. About 6 months ago I smelled fuel but found no active leaks. Two weeks ago my generator stopped working - I thought I was out of gas but it turned out I was having fuel delivery issues. Thought it was a bad fuel scavenge pump on the generator (and while it occurred to me that the line might be bad, I quickly dismissed it after considering the likelihood of the line leaking for no apparent reason would - keep considering that the generator has had minimal use - maybe 10 hours of use compared to last year). However, while my friend was blowing on the line (we thought it might be a blockage), I saw small bubbles forming around the stainless braid and heard a hiss. The line is stationary and sees no real vibration and is not worn at all. I split the braid at the leak and it turned out that part of the braid was actually molded into the inner liner. I can only assume that the leak was mainly caused by poor quality control or poor quality materials. In the end it was very annoying and I feel like I should get my money back because of a hidden defect.
