Review on Kensington Fusion Wireless Trackball with Orbit Technology (Model K72363WW) by Kevin Witherspoon

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Great, too bad there wasn't a wired option.

Great Trackball! I give 5 stars but there are a few little things I would like to change a bit. The ball is a bit small, especially for multi-monitor work. The scroll ring is okay, but it sits too high and surrounds too much of the (already small) trackball. This can be a lower/flatter shape and a more open part of the ball. But it's a real scroll ring, not Slimblade's poor implementation of ball scrolling, so that's a plus. The sphere doesn't appear to be removable for cleaning, although there's a hole in the base for the occasional shake out of dirt or to spray compressed air. The DPI selector doesn't retain its setting when it's off, a minor issue but a little annoying. These are all minor issues and do not change my 5 star rating, but I returned my device as it was not behaving properly on my wireless network. Had it had a wired connection facility I would have kept it, but it and my network weren't a good match and it's too unproductive to leave. I brought it back and am now happily using "Kensington Expert, Wired".
