Review on CAMVATE Crab Clamp Thread Microphones by Keith Bradley

The clamp is compact, very strong and easily clings to everything. to main post, can only be tightened in one direction. There is no clutch to change the direction of the post. If I want my clip to face a different direction, I have no choice but to use tape to make sure it doesn't rotate, defeating the purpose of using the clip. I will be returning it and buying a rotating clip instead. It looks the same, only with a clutch to change direction. I'm a bit confused as to how this clip can be useful when you don't have a microphone that's always attached to something and you never have to move it.
