At first I was disappointed with the product. He drives in a 1955 Chevy pickup with fake gas tank and transmission. I plugged in the device and it came on full light and then nothing. It turned out that the resistance in the transmitter unit was not sufficient. I soldered a built in 47 ohm 1W resistor to the transmitter wire (YELLOW wire). This made the sensor work perfectly! I was able to turn the device from empty to full with an adjustable potentiometer connected to the pressure gauge. It also fits nicely in a 2 inch PVC pipe if you need an enclosure.
