updated 5/2020. I threw away all but a few pairs to wear at home in plain socks without damaging my other good socks. I can't even wear them to go in because they cut off the circulation in my leg; I just threw away the other 2 pairs. I'm still looking for 100% cotton socks to replace my original gold socks. I've waited while wearing these socks for several months to be able to rate them. the cotton-polyethylene fabric has evaporated again, creating little nasty balls of fur and soiling the carpet, just like every other sock I've bought in the last 5 years since the gold sock sold out to international buyers. I won't be buying them again, I'll throw everything in the trash and continue my quest for a good sock that wears/ages properly.
