If you plan to run electrical wiring then your kit should include them. I first heard about them on Sparky's YouTube channel and bought a few to try. I've used them to wire outlets and lights in the basement of my old apartment and also when I'm rewiring the entire garage extension in my new home. I have used them extensively in place of wire nuts and will choose them every time. For flat box work they are fantastic, for enhancing old work they are amazing. The fact that they are reusable is just one benefit. If you're working with a lot of wires in a box, it's better to use it than trying to twist a large piece of wire in a small box with pliers. I haven't had any reliability issues and have gone through several hundred of them. I can't say enough good things about this if you're looking for a lighter, safer, more versatile alternative to wire nuts to simplify your wiring projects. Buy it. Also, I liked them so much I bought them in a package for my dad for Father's Day 2018, this was the photo he sent me when he received them.
