NO WHISTLE!: Cookware

This so-called whistling kettle does NOT whistle. The instructions say the valve on the spout needs to be "sealed", but it doesn't fit properly and even after fumbling with it a few times to get it closed, it just wouldn't work. I don't have time to watch the kettle in the morning and because it doesn't whistle I almost burned it to the bone. It ran out of water to fill a cup when I noticed it wasn't whistling. The lid is VERY difficult to remove and VERY hot. I burned the backs of my fingers trying to open them to add more water and ended up using a regular pot to heat the water for my coffee. Obviously this is not a long term solution as this also needed to be monitored. When I had more time I tried working on the stuffing again but due to the way the loops attach to the small flap this is impossible. To say I'm disappointed with this thing isn't exactly what I want to say and I strongly DO NOT recommend it. If I could leave zero stars, I definitely would!
