Review on 2 Pack of 120V Dimmable Halogen Transformers - 75W by Lee Reyna

theses are from 1994 (when my house was built and each collapsed after about 27 years). I couldn't find an identical replacement - not really surprising after 27 years! These transformers - sold here at Revain - were the perfect replacement - although I had to cut the wires and mount with nuts as I couldn't find transformers with those old connectors. Very happy with how easy it was to get out and how well they work. It should be noted that I've read some reviews that mentioned that the current draw of LED bulbs is too low for them to work properly, but I haven't had this problem. They work with 20W and 50W halogen lamps and Philips LED lamps (very low wattage). Also, they don't heat up noticeably at all - they seem to run pretty cool. Also double sided (very sticky and durable) tape pre-taped on the back has proven handy for me. In short - it seems solidly made - it worked well and worked perfectly and a great solution for me.
