I usually wear a size 8 1/2 but they only come in full sizes. I tried my sister's pair in size 9 and they were too big. So I chose size 8. When they arrived I was very excited because they looked very tall and fit. When I put them on I had plenty of room in the front and back. My heel and toe were actually about 1/4 inch from the ends of the shoe. My problem was the positioning of the raised area of the arch. If I moved my foot all the way back to fit in the heel strap, my foot would not fit properly in the shoe. When I moved my foot forward so that the arch was in line with my foot, the rear heel strap didn't touch my foot. I would return the shoes and buy a different brand. BUT if I could get them half size to try again I would.
