Bad First Impression

I still can't believe how expensive this lanyard is but if you need it, you need it. I was thinking of a cheaper version of Cowboy Studio, but the reviews on it aren't very good either. That being said, you need to understand the order in which devices are plugged in and powered on if you want this to work properly. If this is not done in the right order, my camera (Canon EOS 7d) will work continuously until the cable is unplugged. So if you turned everything on in the right order and connected the devices in the right order, it works pretty well. I use TT5 throughout and although there is a slight lag from the lead camera to the slave you can work with it. Another downside is that you, the slave, only fire once every 4 seconds or so. This means that when shooting at high speed from the main camera, the sub camera will only be triggered about every 4 seconds. My camera got stuck in the N3 connection of my Canon 7d. I finally pulled it out with pliers and really hope I didn't damage the camera. The small push/pull lock is probably ineffective. Not what you would expect from a $100 cable. I will replace it, I hope the new one works better.
