cute but unusual sizes

I wanted to love these shirts because they are so cute. I bought a size up (4T) for my almost 3 year old. Mermaid cat shirt appears to be the perfect size after washing. The other two shrunk significantly after washing and I was disappointed. They're still very cute for summer - I was just expecting them to last longer in size.
