I've been using this thing in the sea (salt water) kitesurfing for several months. I've seen several people claim that the batteries aren't holding a charge or that the case is leaking. I haven't seen any signs of it and I use it 3 days a week for about 8-10 hours from time to time. It even went diving. No leaks. Remember to take it home and wash it up. If sand gets into the rubber seal, it will naturally leak. It leaves a permanent imprint on the silicone seal where water can penetrate. Take care of it and you won't have any problems. As for the batteries, they are excellent. They last a long time, and they also hold a long charge. I rarely need a spare battery, and when I do, it's fully charged even after a few months of inactivity. I think people just aren't used to the charger (it can be finicky if you're charging 2 batteries at the same percentage). If you have trouble doing this, charge one by one. As for image stabilization, it's not a GoPro, but it works. The image quality is good in good lighting. The video quality is good, could be better, but for the price you can't ask for more. Most problems are related to the lighting in the place where you are shooting. Bright sunny days look much better than cloudy days. The only thing that drives me crazy is the sound. Outside the case everything is fine. But inside the case you only hear cracking and crackling of objects hitting the case. And I don't mean hits, you can just tap with your finger and it will sound like a pop on the video. So if you're surfing or doing something that involves movement and need a camera in a pocket, don't expect sound. I can't even hear a voice unless my mouth is inches from the case and I'm speaking clearly into it. Outside the case the sound is ok. Don't expect XLR quality. It's more like a cellphone mic in his video, it's that level of quality.
