I use it in combination with the unscented capsules because the scent is strong and I'm a bit sensitive to fragrances (and the unscented capsules are about 4 times cheaper), but I like them. I only add one pod per load so it lasts a while and the price seems reasonable. I don't like most scented laundry soaps because they smell "like linen" (does it really smell like synthetic fresh flowers?) and not in the way a person would like to smell, but ginger mango pods smell like luxurious men's bath products. I don't get mango or ginger, but it's fresh, flavorful, and a bit masculine. If you're having trouble dissolving the outer capsule, I definitely recommend adding it and filling the washing machine with some water. before adding laundry. They also dissolve quicker in lukewarm or hot water, so I usually rinse them out with about 3 inches of warm water and then give too cold a change before putting clothes in the cold wash, but I may have too much free time. I buy them. If only because they are a simple and very practical means of scenting laundry and therefore fully justify their price.
