Kids love these boots. They keep feet warm, unlike the insulated waders they have replaced. The boots are a little chunky compared to other boots but kids get used to it. My kids love them and never complain. We no longer need hand and foot warmers. Sometimes fancy wool or damn stiff socks feel like overkill in these boots. Great for recreation, snow plowing, shoveling, ice fishing, sledding etc. We will never buy anything else. My two youngest children are the same type as mom and dad but the eldest daughter has a more form fitting faux fur on the upper and they don't sacrifice warmth even in stylish clothes.
