Review on 📺 Monoprice Titan Full-Motion TV Wall Mount Bracket: 32"-60" TVs, 175 lbs, 5"-20" Extension, VESA 750x450, Concrete & Brick Compatible - Black by Dan Phillips

Please note: I chose to purchase an open box from Revain's inventory, but my comments apply to the new mount as well. I used it to mount a Panasonic 50 inch Plasma TV (TH-50PZ80U). I like the TV but it weighs about 90 pounds and has a very long VESA hole spacing. The previously purchased Revain Basics mount should have worked according to a customer service rep, but didn't. Revain refunded this purchase with no hassle, which I appreciate. This Monoprice mount looks well built. Tip for those having trouble hanging it on the wall: remove the brackets from the wall plate by removing the pins holding the plastic caps and swivel tubes. Once you've done that, you can slide the pivot tubes out from the bottom of the mount. (There is a small set screw or rod that does not need to be removed.) Remove the swing arms and remaining hardware, noting the order/direction of the washers and other hardware. This allows you better alignment and wall mounting - you've just lost 40 pounds of a dangling arm. The reattachment wasn't too bad, they had an assistant hold the arm assembly while I attached everything. After double-checking my work, I asked him to help lift the TV onto the mount, secure it, and then double-check that work as well. I understand this product description says 52 inches or more and up to 300 pounds, but I wanted to make sure the arm could handle both normal movement and TV loads that stretch to the wall. It easily handled the width of the VESA mounting pattern, but didn't have slots to match the vertical spacing. Solving this problem wasn't too difficult, but I did have to make a few cuts with my Dremel tool. (Please see the attached photos - they were taken before the paintwork was cleaned and touched up to avoid corrosion). Although I'm obviously not a professional grower, this worked great. The supplied hex bolts were not long enough for my application, even without using gaskets. This required a trip to a local hardware store. Keep this in mind while you work, or better yet, when you can anticipate the need, order from Revain. Despite these problems. I really like this mount and I hope that my review will be useful to you!
