The 8oz Victory Gloves are ideal for athletes weighing 140lbs and under for bag-and-glove work or professional combat. These gloves offer almost the same knuckle protection as 16 ounce gloves. The padding is designed to absorb shock to avoid damaging the joint, yet still feel a click/thump with every impact. With less volume at the thumb/top and knuckles and less wrist coverage, you can let your hands fly. I've trained with them a few times and had no trouble getting my arms hitting the heaviest bags in my gym at 100% for 12 rounds. The delivery time was exceptional too! Definitely worth the money.
