I wasn't sure about the steam mop compared to the traditional mop. I couldn't understand how such a small amount of water could clean my floors. During the holidays I looked everywhere for a car at the best price that fulfilled everything I needed. I stumbled across the Wellcows Steam Mop 12 in 1 Convertible Mop and had a think. Well by the time I decided to take the risk the price had gone up and now I really wasn't sure. My brother stopped by one evening to pick up his sweater that I had borrowed, which dictated my decision. I ordered and waited right away. At the same time, I laid all the tile floors by hand. Needless to say I was thrilled when I received my steam mop. It came already assembled so I was ready to go. I vacuumed the floors and then threw away the steam mop. When using the steam cleaner for the first time, it took a little getting used to. I had the steam setting on max. The second time I set the steam setting to about medium-low it was perfect. Water heats up in seconds, gets very hot. Please do not touch the cleaning pad and/or the bottom of the steam cleaner when the power switch is on. The steam mop came with two cleaning pads but I ordered a set of six which were not from Wellcows but I thought they would work. Well, they're a bit smaller and oddly shaped, but they work. I would like to find replacement pads at a good price for Wellcow. The pads that come with the steam mop are thick and absorbent and really stick to sticky things. The steam mop is easy to use on my tiled floor; and maneuver under large furniture like my bed. Because I admired my Wellcows 12 in 1 steam mop so much, my brother and mother bought it.
