Not powerful enough for my 40 gallon tank
I bought a 100 watt heater for my 40 gallon tank. The website description says it works up to 45 gallons, but that doesn't apply to mine. It's been sitting in my tank for 4 days now and I've turned it full on and it still doesn't get above 72 degrees Fahrenheit (which is just a tad warmer than the air temp in my house so that hardly tells me it ever gets hotter). is working). general).
