This is not my first rodeo. I've been driving classic Fords as an amateur for about 15 years. I bought this to save myself the dots that were always screwed up on my Mustang 65 due to a bad plenum. I hate spending money unnecessarily so I bought this in place of a new distributor. In the end it works quite well. I don't really see it doing me any good, I don't feel or notice any difference in horsepower or torque or anything. He seems to start a little quicker with that than with points. Finally, why 3 stars instead of 5? The directions were incredible "Drama Queens". You can easily install them, but the instructions make it seem like you're going to burn a hole in the center of the floor if you don't shut up while installing. The directions are unclear and exaggerated at "MUST". and capital letters WARNINGS! ALSO: The rotor is weird and I'm pretty sure it's a piece of crap. I almost ripped out the key because it was so tight I had to hammer it in. It's damn weird. You would think that with all the warnings in the instructions they would say something about how tight the damn rotor is and you'll probably never take it out of there again. I usually LOVE ACCEL stuff but if you can find something better. BUT: it still works great, no issues, so it does its job.
