It is not registered from the phone to the mat

I just received it today. To set it up, it wasn't connected from the phone to the yellow magnet that's on the mat. When that finally happened after 15 minutes, we moved on to the first question of the game. We put the correct number on the yellow counter arrow and nothing happened. It doesn't register with the app on my phone. I have a Galaxy S9 and I said it's compatible. Disappointed because I saw such great reviews on it and was really looking forward to using it for my 4 year old.

Not good for memorization or 7+

Pros: The games have nice graphics, positive praise, so they're fun and engage kids. Cons: The app is really buggy and doesn't allow you to change or customize the name. It just doesn't answer. Also, it takes a few seconds for the application to determine the response placed on the magnet. Finally, the pace of the math problems is slow. Therefore, it is not appropriate to help a child remember the facts of addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division. This is especially true when it comes

Amazing educational game!

I really like this educational game! We bought it for my daughter who is going to kindergarten in the fall. Setting up the game only took a few minutes. We installed the app on our I-Pad and it was very easy to get started. She just loves to count rockets. I think it's great that she's already learning to add and subtract in a playful and interactive way at the age of four. I couldn't take her away from this game this morning and honestly I didn't mind. She absolutely loved her numbers! I…

Great learning kits

This kit actually contains two kits that can be used with a controller and an app. My boys love both sets. My oldest has always loved numbers so he prefers the math set. I like that I can control the level in the classroom and he likes that he can control what games he plays. He also really likes the linkset! He prefers a game where he searches for different words. My 2 year old loves to play with links alone. We had some technical difficulties, but their customer service was so great that they

Healthy screen time for your kids!

We have just received the Plugo counter and I am amazed at how comfortable it is for my daughters (3 and 5 years old). The packaging is great for later storage when not playing the game and there are 2 digit game pieces for each number as you can see in the pictures. You must download the app and have a tablet or phone compatible with the game. So keep that in mind when purchasing. My daughters really needed help the first time they played because they can't read yet, but after that they easily

This amazing product can be used in your classroom!

Shifu Plugo Count is by far the best iPad game my students have played. I teach first grade and was able to project an iPad with a projector system for the whole class. My students wrote the problems on their personal bulletin boards and I chose one student to use game elements to solve the problem. The excitement was unreal. What we liked most about this system is its variety. I liked that they had word problems so students could figure out when it was appropriate to add and subtract. I made…

Yes! Math is fun!

We cannot praise our new game Plugo Count! Our Kindergartener has been playing this game for about a month now and we are seeing his confidence and math skills grow. You'll need a tablet or smartphone to download the free app, but that's about it! In the box is everything else you need to play four different STEM games (there are over 250 levels😱). I like that there are easy arithmetic problems as well as more difficult word problems. With Plugo Count there is no shortage of learning. The best

Cool Use of Augmented Reality Technology

I ordered this product to help my autistic son with math. He loves technology, and the ability to use manipulation makes abstract concepts like math more concrete for him. He likes to use it and it helps him with his understanding of numbers. My daughter is more advanced in math (3rd grade, up to multiplication and division) and she enjoyed playing with her too. It's not that fun that someone would want to play with it without prompting - it's math, after all, and they'd rather use an iPad to…

I'm a bit disappointed with this product.

First I would like to add that I have an Android tablet, not an iPad, so this could be an Android issue. But this game is said to be compatible with Android tablets. I had high hopes for this Shifu Count game for my son from kindergarten. I thought it would be a fun game to help him learn and while it might be fun for some, kindergarten age is not the best age to buy this game. I think this game is more suitable for preschoolers. Adding to this game is SO EASY. It pisses me off how easy it is…
