The WOED BATENS tennis racquet is a good starter set for people who are just starting out or want to play tennis occasionally. My daughter has recently started tennis and we have found this set to work well for her. The racquets are well made, light weight and have a good sized head suitable for beginners. The child found the ball easy to hit and had no problem returning the ball to her husband. The racquets are well tensioned and both have knobs to reduce vibration. They are easy to put on and take off when you decide to use them or not. Because this set includes two rackets, both daughter and husband can play. The set also includes three balls, extra handles and a carrying bag. Everything fits in the bag (including balls) and we don't have to put everything in carefully, and there's a little padding between the clubs to keep them from getting scratched. While I wouldn't recommend these racquets for competitive play, this set is definitely good enough for the beginning casual player and as the daughter progresses (if she wants to) we'll probably invest in more expensive racquets that offer more power and better control. Overall, this is a great value if you just want to play for fun, and at the current price of $65 for everything you need to get started, this is great value for a beginner.
