For the past few months I have had problems with my 2007 Honda Fit Sport stalling at idle. With no support from the local dealer, I turned to the internet after they rebuffed me that my car was fine. After researching Fitfreak.net (a forum for Honda Fit owners of all generations) I got answers to all my questions. It seems that 2007/2008 Honda Fit models have issues where the ignition coils fail faster than normal wear and tear. Within minutes I ordered the following items: 1. Four NGK (6774) IZFR6K13 Laser Iridium Spark Plugs, pack of 1.2. Four Hitachi IGC0053 .3 ignition coils. GearWrench 80546 5/8" x 6" Swivel Spark Plug Head .4. Permatex 81150 Tune-Up Dielectric Grease, 0.33 oz tube. After collecting all the items I was ready to go. In this case I followed the forum post "Official DIY: Spark Plug Replacement" on Fitfreak.net and did everything myself. After I got everything ready, I took the Fit for a test ride. The machine returned to normal operation. Do you have a Honda Fit Sport 2007/2008? These are original spark plugs. I can guarantee you this by taking out the originals and stating "the internet was right".
