I'm so glad I can finally connect my phone to my car stereo. I think the most helpful thing I can add is that my 2007 Accord (7th Gen 2003-2007) has a plastic plug in the center of the dash right next to the windshield. If you remove that vent panel you can unplug that connector and put an extra wire through it, which I did. Watch a radio removal video to learn how to remove this panel. A 1.8m RCA to 3.5mm cable works great for this. I was surprised that none of the videos show where people connect this adapter. I assume it's because there doesn't seem to be a good place to zip or tape it. I ended up just stuffing it under the storage box and I assume everyone else does.
