This helped me remodel our bedroom, the toilet kept filling the tank when my wife flushed. I had a friend's plumber check it out and they said I needed to replace the damper as I suspected. He told me to order a model specifically designed for my Toto toilet. I planned on calling him to install it. But when I looked at it and the inner mechanism of the tank, I realized I could do it myself. With a little help from a YouTube video I was able to replace the old one with the new one. ADVANTAGES - Easy installation in less than 10 minutes. - No tools required. - Cheaper than hiring a plumber. CONS - I wish there was a link to a YouTube video on how to install and replace this damper. But I suppose a plumber will do that. - The rubber seems a bit flimsy but I guess time will tell.
