I hesitated with this set because it was a little expensive but it was my little one's favorite set so I bought it. I'm glad I bought it. The duvet appears to be a little water repellent. My son doesn't sleep under a duvet (he has a million baby blankets to sleep with) and has had several accidents with him during the night and when I removed the duvet to wash it the sheets underneath were still dry. On another occasion, he left his leakproof mug on and the juice didn't soak into the sheets. So I'm impressed. The template is awesome for any train/truck/tractor lover. It's not too soft, but by no means rough. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.
