Before I bought these lamps, I studied them thoroughly. There were other brands with a lot more 4.5 star reviews but when I clicked on the latest reviews they were terrible (light didn't work, bad quality, stopped working after a few days etc. So I decided to spend extra money spend and buy Quality.- As others have said, this is very good quality - bulbs don't need to be replaced, they don't loosen or tangle.I've turned off nearly 400ft of lights in my house and bushes.I had NO problems with tangles .I was able to plug in and just unfold when I turned the light on.(It will help if you put something in the middle of the lights like a button, flashlight to get the light coil spinning - I will buy a plastic spool if I wind it up after the holidays - The lights spool is very compact when winding when the box arrived, I didn't even think there were lights are, I saw big boxes of Chris Tmas Tree Lights in the store. It has 9 settings and they all work as advertised. The remote control is easy to use and they have decent brightness that can be adjusted. The timer works. Overall simple design and features. The settings are printed on the back of the remote (small, but they're there). I posted them this week - will update my review if I come across any quality issues - but wanted to share my feedback.
