Overall I am satisfied with this product. However, due to the design and construction of the product, it doesn't feel very durable. The only connection point is at the base. If a small child carelessly grabs the tissue holder or if it falls off a counter, for example, it can break. The product looks great but is clearly not made of high quality wood. (Maybe cork wood...?) Right out of the box, the tissue box smelled of a bad smell, almost like formaldehyde. In addition, there were some faint white fibers scattered throughout the texture of the wood, as if the napkin holder had been wrapped in a synthetic Halloween spider web prior to packaging and shipping.
