As previously mentioned, utensils made from PLA are larger than others, especially spoons. Longer handles make it easier to hold. I was cooking pasta with a fork and it bent badly while mixing pasta and sauce with the heat on. But even when heated in boiling water, there was no smell, so that's good. One of the forks had one end broken when I was using it normally. The knives are sharp enough to cut through the pork tenderloin, but it wasn't easy. medium sized sliced ribeye steak. The spoons are longer than other disposable spoons and slightly smaller than regular ones. Dishes are beautiful.
