Review on Rain X 5079276 1 19 Inch Beam by Jason Dahlkemper

Revainrating 2 out of 5

bad blades. Don't last long enough!

These were the first blades I bought after learning how comfortable it was to use Michelin wiper blades without retainers (I think it was the Stealth model). My demands were/are very high. These blades didn't even last a year. It's winter now and those blades just gave up. Now they are loose and too stiff to rub off effectively. If you're paying that much money for "premium" wiper blades and want to throw them away after a year, then these blades are for you. If you're like the rest of the 99 percent of Americans and want your wiper blades to last as long as possible, buy Michelin wiper blades (either an "Optimum Beam" model or a premium "Stealth" model). . I need to replace these wiper blades now; It's safe to say I won't be replacing them with Rainx brand wipers. I'll stick with Michelin's PROS: Looks good Works really well when new graphite lube is good and makes for a very smooth clean when the blades are brand new (even when not wet) CONS: Long enough for the premium price (1 year +/- only) Does not compete in the same price range (e.g. Michelin wiper blades) GENERAL INFO: If you've taken the time to read reviews of wiper blades, it's safe to say that you probably have blades Hate poor quality that don't wipe t when you need it and chat uncontrollably to the limit. These are good quality blades that will last a little longer than the cheapest blades you can buy at Walmart. It's a nice improvement over the cheap Walmart brushes, but it's also not the best you can buy. If you're looking for the best blades ever in the same price range, take a look at Michelin's clasp-free blades. PS Apologies for the incomplete Michelin blade rating I have given. I just love them so much more than those Rainx blades.
