Difficult to install and can't get the job done.

I usually like RainX wipers, but this wiper model is poorly constructed. First, it is an absolute daemon that needs to be installed. I had to review the poorly written, graphic-only instructions multiple times before I finally managed to properly assemble the cloths. It took over an hour to put on, while my previous RainX wipers took less than five minutes. The old wipers were starting to wear out, and I wanted to replace them with a new pair that were heavy and could easily get through snow…

  • Quality construction
Cons
  • I don't really have bad feelings about it, it's ok

Good but.: Windscreen wipers and windscreen washers

These windscreen wipers do their job well. Some reviewers say they don't lay flat or touch the windshield in all places, but I don't think that's true. They lie flat against the windscreen over the entire length of the wipers. One problem I just encountered was clearing snow and ice. I try not to abuse the wipers when cleaning ice and snow, but last time the entire wiper came loose from the mount. I was able to figure out how to attach it, but that would be a bigger problem if I was somewhere…

Great wipers! on Wipers

Have been using Rain-X Latitude wipers for several years now and on three cars. Although I don't drive as much as I used to, I still drive 20-25 (one way) to work every day. Virginia Beach winters are typically wet, and these wipers have weathered many storms. The winter of 2013 was colder than usual and we saw more than usual snow (ie none), but these wipers handled sleet and snow equally well. inevitably fall apart in the pouring rain when everyone else is trying to buy wipers (usually the…

Ask God for help with installation

It's too early to speak of durability or lack of durability of this blade, but I can proceed with the installation. I bought this and a Valeo 600-19 Series Wiper 19" (Pack of 1) to compare. The Valeo slipped and snapped in with no problems, but the Rain-X was a different story. I can connect a hose without it to twist, and I can set the day, date and time on my (non-digital) clock, but this wiper blade confuses me. Thank god it didn't rain that time! On my Volkswagen GTI, I had to dismantle the

bad blades. Don't last long enough!

These were the first blades I bought after learning how comfortable it was to use Michelin wiper blades without retainers (I think it was the Stealth model). My demands were/are very high. These blades didn't even last a year. It's winter now and those blades just gave up. Now they are loose and too stiff to rub off effectively. If you're paying that much money for "premium" wiper blades and want to throw them away after a year, then these blades are for you. If you're like the rest of the 99…
