Review on Rain X 5079276 1 19 Inch Beam by Patrick Myers

These windscreen wipers do their job well. Some reviewers say they don't lay flat or touch the windshield in all places, but I don't think that's true. They lie flat against the windscreen over the entire length of the wipers. One problem I just encountered was clearing snow and ice. I try not to abuse the wipers when cleaning ice and snow, but last time the entire wiper came loose from the mount. I was able to figure out how to attach it, but that would be a bigger problem if I was somewhere outside of my driveway. We've had a mild winter so far so I haven't had to scratch much, but I'm worried these things are too delicate. If the same or worse happens again I will add an additional opinion. 03/30/2013 - IT HAPPENED AGAIN! VERY light snow and again the wiper blade came loose from the bracket after a very light impact. I can't put this thing back together without glasses, so it's going to be a real problem if it happens in the wild. I will leave them until next winter and then replace these wipers with another brand.
