. I might give this product 2 stars even if it arrived damaged if the company had actually fixed this issue that many reviews complained about. I see that they are responding to these reviews but they don't solve the problem. The thread that the carpet spikes screw into (at the base of the stand) is fine. The screws with which the additional rubber feet are attached can be screwed in without any problems. This carving on the spikes themselves is not the same. I couldn't screw any of the spikes into the base, and I didn't want to force it and pull the threads off the base. They clearly know the problem and are not fixing it. I wanted to use spikes, but I had no choice but to use legs instead. One of the top glass plates also arrived with a broken corner. There were no broken glass in the box as it was factory packed. With the speaker on top it doesn't stand out unless you're really looking for it, so not worth sending back. I don't understand how this stand is worth the price given its lack of quality.
