This air purifier definitely works! It is very successful in filtering smoke and odors from the bedroom and upon exiting the room there is a noticeable difference in air quality. The room it is in is approximately 14 x 14 square meters and this air purifier has no problem filtering the air in a room of this size. We wanted to make sure we had a high performing fire air filter to avoid health issues from the smoke and we're glad this filter met our needs. The mobile app is easy to use (my partner tried it on Android and I use an iPhone) and gives useful information on filter life. They recently added a section that shows filter usage percentage so you know how clean or dirty it is. This makes it very handy to know exactly when parts need to be cleaned or replaced! Also interesting is the data on outdoor and indoor air quality, which even breaks down the amount of particles, allergens and volatile organic compounds in the gases. According to the paper instructions, the pre-filter and particle sensor should be cleaned after about two months; However, the app recommends cleaning the pre-filter every 1 to 2 weeks. I need to check the optimal duration. The filters themselves last much longer. Another great feature of the mobile application is that you can dim the lights on the device even more than the automatic night mode selected on the device. It would be great if you could turn off the light without an app, but that's not the case. If you find yourself unable to perform tasks within the app, the user guide has helpful information on troubleshooting Wi-Fi connectivity, etc. We really like using night mode as the best of all options. It's quiet and only revs up when necessary. This makes it very clear how well it performs in the area of energy saving. There's also a turbo setting that I like to use when we're cleaning the bathroom to purify the air when it's filled with chemicals. One feature I've never had on previous air filters that I really like here is the helpful color-coding of the lights. to display the air quality. Overall, the device is excellent and does exactly what it is supposed to do and filters the air very well. I hope that the brand will continue to improve the app. (One of the downsides is that in the iPhone app, each info button (i) currently opens a blank page that says "No Content.")
