Love breathing fire with this fuel

Best fuel for breathing fire in my experience but only for big shows/parties. Fire breathing pneumonia warning. Make sure you have good technique before switching to this fuel, or rinse your mouth well immediately afterwards.

  • Confident

oil freezes! The Best in Oil Lamps

This oil is advertised as "waxed ultra pure clear lamp oil". He's freezing! When I called Tikibrands they told me it was a mix with water. That's why it freezes. This is an issue and should be noted in the description. I use oil in cold situations. It's useless if it freezes.

Smokeless Flame Goblet

I bought the lamp oil for our goblet at UU Church. We've used something else before (maybe it was tiki torch oil?) but the choir group complained about the smoke and smell interfering with their singing. This ultra pure oil solved all problems. It burns clean - without soot or smoke, and is odorless, so it doesn't cause allergies or throat irritation. I recommend

Burns clean and bright

We have an oil lamp in our home that was gifted to us by a talented artist friend. He specifically recommended this Lamplight Ultra-Pure lamp oil to us and we are very happy with it (! and with our lamp of course!). Not having this oil on hand, we bought lamp oil from another hardware company and gave it a try. BUT it smoked heavily in our lamp and had a strange odor (otherwise there is no better way to describe it). So we quickly switched back. Let's not make that mistake again.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Low maintenance

Chemical odor - not recommended

Purchased for use in a pair of Dietz flashlights. I use lanterns indoors and wanted something unscented. I've been using this oil in my flashlights for about a month and every time I light them I notice an unpleasant chemical smell. When burning I keep the wick low, just below the wick body to prevent smoke and soot from building up. Side oil burns clean, but the chemical odor is very noticeable and makes it uncomfortable to use. ***Update - I just noticed some of that lamp oil got on the table

These are little things.

Burns beautifully. It's the little things that make me happy. I've had bottles that didn't pour well and I was glad this bottle didn't drip! I also added 5 drops of my favorite essential oil to give it a light scent. It clouded the oil a bit, but I'm fine with that. The packaging was fine. It was in a box with something else and both were intact. No leakage. But not all couriers are the same. My boyfriend was on vacation and the other driver was pretty rude with the boxes. If he had said it, it

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Excellent non smoking oil - highly recommend for candles and 'things' where smoking is a problem. We have a fire-breathing dragon (nostril wicks) on the dining table. (local potters) and some candles. Regular "odorless" lamp oil worked well enough - smoked a bit. When we ran out of "lamp oil" (usual) it smoked horribly. The flame we received was about half that size due to the very low flash point of the selectively refined oil. So you MUST adjust your wicks (our Dragon nostrils barely burned…

  • Great choice

  • Nothing here

Good fuel for 1/2' match lanterns

Ordered lamp oil with a Dietz #76 kerosene lantern. While this works with a 1/2 inch wick, the light and cost are not as efficient as synthetic kerosene. I've also since bought a Dietz #90 D-Lite flashlight and a Dietz #8 Air-Pilot flashlight and synthetic kerosene. It is the only fuel that can be used with 7/8 inch wicks. The 76 gives off a nice relaxing glow, the big lights are a bit bigger and give more light but it's a bit sharper. Dietz #2600 Jupiter's and try the "hot blast" Monarch…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Nothing

This is my favorite lamp oil for my small lanterns and lamps. This works great on ANY lantern or oil lamp with a 1/2" wick or less. If your lamp/lantern has a wider wick, consider using Medallion Clear Lamp Oil. As a note on THIS product, there is a VERY one LITTLE odour. When it's on fire it smells like hot wax. It's not repulsive or anything but if you enter a room with the lantern on you might catch a faint smell.Used in flashlights but it's actually not too hard to spot .THIS product is a…
