I am very happy with this purchase. This will prevent my yarn from untangling and getting under the yarn stand. It works great and I appreciate the cut style for the size it comes in. That way I can cut it long enough to put under the spool. It is suitable for both 1/2lb and 1lb industrial sewing spools. I tried another brand and it was very tight. Another brand messed up the tension on my sewing machine. This brand does not affect the tension of the sewing machine. This grade is a soft/pliable type of nylon. No complaints, it just works great. Buy a few and you'll see what I mean!
