Well done, but I won't buy any more.

The disk was bought to replace another dead ST, a programmed crc failure for all disks of this manufacturer, of different sizes, bought at about the same time. Sprinkled together. The discs themselves are in excellent condition, no bads. But the controller won't work. Disk falls off under load. An even older 2tb WD is also installed in the system - it continues to work without problems.
Therefore, it was decided to move away from ST.
The disk is under the fan, as is the entire basket of disks.
Bought for a home video collection plus a permanent copy of recordings from home cameras.

Pros

The amount of disk space is the most important parameter in this choice. Completely silent.

Cons

I doubted, because. Much has been written about head noise and disk noise. I do not fully confirm this information. I absolutely can't hear it. And when I made a copy from a 4 TB disk, everyone tried to hear at least something that would interfere. But, complete silence and excellent speed. I will note one minus for a home system unit: the bolt holes for the rack. Not located for home PC. I have a lower mount, I tightened the two screws, the two holes did not match, so I put the disk on the rubber bands from the mount. Block by Fractal Design, tower. Price! Three months later changed and fell more than twelve thousand.
