Don't take off your shoes. in my opinion
I bought these sandals for my 1.5 year old daughter. I ordered them in normal size and they fit perfectly. My daughter feels like his big brother's old wellies are the ONLY shoes she wants to wear outside. At home she will only wear different shoes. THEY STAY. And apparently they are acceptable on the street too! HOORAY! I'm always picky when it comes to children's shoes. I need shoes with good grip and a good RUBBER profile. These sandals have BOTH and I am very satisfied.

- I bought these for my daughter and they were a bit big but she is growing up in them and they are comfortable.
