Let's talk about hurricanes. Last year Irma turned off the electricity for 6 days. It was September in muggy Florida. No ice. No power. There is no cool air. I bought an O2Cool fan YEARS ago (it was really cheap at $7.99 back then) for camping. I pulled it out of the closet and it saved my life! Seriously, saved my life. O2Cool is a great brand and this old fan works SO well. It kept me alive and cool until my power returned. Requires 8 D batteries so make sure you have a spare. Hurricane season has just started again. I bought this updated O2Cool fan (it's slightly different from my old one - lighter but otherwise pretty much the same. I haven't used it yet because I don't need it. But I've tested it and it works great. I'll say so back in the box and hopefully I never have to use it. This one came with a power cord (my old one didn't have it) so it's good when I have power. The fan is great for camping or a picnic. It's very light and thin and will travel well It has 2 speeds - low and high This is a great little fan The price at $26 was a little high I thought but I don't care If you sweat to death in Florida without electricity it is the fan on weight gold!good Highly recommended!
