First of all, this collar costs twice as much as my previous collars and is not rechargeable. I only considered this because of the smaller size for a 4 lb dog. Out of the box it worked fine and worked as it should. I used the collar in my hand to set the flag around the perimeter. Then I buckled the harness on our pet and started training with just clay. He hasn't picked up. I thought maybe the battery that came with it was dead. After replacing the battery it still didn't work with all settings. I quickly packed it up and sent it back. I then used one of my old rechargeable receivers with a new smaller low correction strap.
