This is my second Hott player. Since I listen to audiobooks every day, it's great to have a backup player to carry around in my bag. I listen in the evenings while walking or before bed. This new player has improved features. It used to be easy to accidentally hit the power button when picking up or holding the player. With it you need to hold down the power button for 4 seconds, there is less chance of turning the player on or off accidentally when you pick it up. However, the best feature is the ability to charge the player yourself. Batteries are not required. I regularly ordered AA batteries for my old player. This saves money in the long run! Another feature that I care about is that if you turn off the player and resume playback later, it will return to where you left off in the book. Not many players offer this feature, and it's important for those of us who listen to audiobooks. Great player, lightweight, easily fits in some pockets or purses.
