Review on Enhanced V-Trail 2.0 Trail Running Shoes for Men by Vibram FiveFingers by Jeremy Adams

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Fixed sock tear but added more issues

So they are double reinforced where the sole meets the toe fabric which always rips on my other Vibrams. On this model, it's fabric and some kind of thin rubber, so I don't think fingers will rip. There are a few extra seams in the fingers now, which isn't that comfortable, but you can get used to it. True, now there are some other issues: 1. The upper around the back of the heel is now harder leather/synthetic leather so you can't fold it back to fit the heel like it is fabric, so it's a lot harder to press your foot in. I almost got blisters. My thumbs were trying to slip into the 46s I usually wear and I had to go for the 47s instead. My left big toe space was much smaller than my right toe space for some reason, so there was always pressure on the inside of my left big toe, which was quite uncomfortable. But I'm probably just unlucky.3. The most serious flaw is that for some reason there are significantly larger bumps on the inside of the boot, located on the outside edge of each forefoot. I thought maybe they would compress/wear out with use, but it seems like everything around the nubs is compressing and the nubs stick out even worse, so they're like soft pebbles which are right on the outside Forefoot stuck in your shoes, which is where I'm most prone to blisters. I've worn these shoes for two easy 1.8 mile runs just to break them in, both times with socks, and the second time (which I just got back from) I'm pretty sure they gave me blisters . my right leg My advice is to wait for v3.0. I'll probably take mine for another short run and if they don't get better I'll try to return them.
