This dress is straight out of a fairy tale. My daughter is obsessed with mermaids, loves anything that glows and it was on top! I was looking for a mermaid costume for Halloween/Birthday and finally found dresses that glow on Amazon! Pros: Tbh, I was expecting some cheap looking, poorly made stuff but was pleasantly surprised by the looks and quality. It would be a great Halloween option for mom and daughter to have such adult outfit. Size 5-6 was perfect for a 4.5 year old but I'm sure it would be fine for a 5-6 year old too. There is a spot on the back, it's white and very stretchy material. I've looked at other similar dresses without LEDs and wondered if it would look ugly on the back, but no, it looks perfectly fine. The battery pocket is completely invisible and does not bother the child. Comes with a set of batteries which is great. Cons: But I should warn you that there is no petticoat, no underwear showing as the tutu is quite thick and made of large pieces of mesh, but I would still wear it with shorts or a skirt. In general I am very happy with the purchase, it really looks like a dress from a fairy tale. 4 days in a row my daughter wears it every day and she loves it!
