The UL listed switch may not be important to you, but if it is, note that the dimmer switch does not have a "UL" marking to indicate that it is he it has been certified by Underwriter Laboratories. The dimmer works well and is easy to turn. If it had a certification mark I would add another star. The two flashlights were compactly packed, so take them all out before you start. I only assembled one lamp and found the top ring of the lampshade at the bottom of the box after assembling and running it. Looking at the photos posted, I'm wondering if there are slight differences in production, particularly with the cables. I was hoping to use a cable cover but the switch on the one I got is in a bad position. I see somewhere closer to the ground which is what I was hoping for. On the plus side, it's easy to get to, but it just doesn't look pretty. In time I will find another place to use it.
