The metal on them is so thin it bends easily. I have some old seat belts from things I've replaced or extra parts and I use them for practice. I haven't severed a single pin on them without bending them (and yes, I know what I'm doing). This tool set also does not have the channels needed to extract the pins from the back of connectors such as those used by Amphenol and Deutsch. So they are useless because I need them. The description and pictures didn't help, but there's a tool for every plug, right? Not correct.
