Very strong / easy to roll

Bought to keep a 2500w petrol generator running. The generation is 15-20 years old, but is used so little that it is still like new. The weight and lack of wheels have always been the biggest downsides. I'm sure this cart will carry a lot more weight but I needed a very strong cart that would roll well as I may have to move the block about 50 feet to another location in my area during the winter. Best on cement, but lighter loads should be moved over gravel or packed snow with a little care. 2 wheel sizes. I chose the smaller one. Good decision as the generator is still 4-6 inches off the ground. There's a nice rubbery finish and a couple of lugs that hold the generator well. I actually tested the generator on a cart for up to 15 minutes and don't think it moved an inch. I don't recommend this unless you buckle your car. I haven't had to tie it yet though. Rolls very easily on cement floors. A generator with a full tank of fuel will likely weigh 75-85 pounds. (Dolly is designed for a lot more.) The wheels went easily. Care should be taken not to overtighten the nuts when installing the wheel assemblies. My guess is that if you overtighten the pickup screws (which are molded into the plastic base) they could come loose. Because of this, I was careful not to over-tighten the nuts. Hell, with any weight on top, you don't have to use a lot of force to tighten the wheels and support brackets. You're not going anywhere.
