My 2 year old daughter loves this thing! Her brother is 8 years old and has always driven electric powered toys but has recently switched to an electric scooter. Now she thinks she's just as cool and has a proud expression on her face while riding. She mastered the steering in under 15 minutes, which is great; it will not tip or fall. Even works on grass. Assembly took about 15 minutes to attach the wheels and handlebars. It runs very slowly which is perfect for her age but now that she can maneuver fairly easily I don't think it will be used for more than a year or so. I would not buy it for over 3 year olds.
